FAQ

What is the price for the One Week Camp?
The fee is $1200 which includes four days of on track riding instruction with Friday being reserved for free riding and technique recaps. Additionally you will receive cardio conditioning and strength training in our fitness center on five days and one session with our mental skills coach. You will arrive Sunday after 12:00pm with open riding from 2:30-4:30pm and the camp ends on Friday at 4:00pm.

Do I need a parent with me?
Only riders who are 11 or younger. Otherwise no. However, if you are under 18 years old a parent must complete, sign and have notarized the appropriate forms:

How many are in each camp?
Normally we bring in twenty four to train, however that number can be more or less depending on the circumstances. The student instructor ratio is always 9:1 or less.

How fast do I need to be?
This camp is for all skill levels, but you must be on 85cc bikes or larger.

How often do we ride?
You train Monday through Thursday and on Friday the emphasis switches to free riding and technique recaps as determined by the instructors.

Do we ride at the same time annual members do?
No, you will train with the riders in the camp. However, Colleen will often use pro riders or MTF full time riders to demonstrate skills.

Do I need to bring equipment and bikes?
We ask that you bring your own equipment and two bikes if you have them.

Is there a mechanic?
We have a full Race Pro Shop onsite. Work is done on a fee basis and all repairs can be handled.

Is there bike service available?

Yes, MTF will perform basic bike cleaning and maintenance at a cost of $60.00 per day per bike. Parts and repairs are extra.

Do we workout?
Yes. Our trainers will provide 5 days of cardio conditioning and muscular strength training

* Bring gym shoes and clothes

Am I guaranteed a full RV hookup?

We will not have any hook up available during the camps. You may park your RV at MTF or there are local hotels close by. The bunkhouse is available only for riders not accompanied by a parent or guardian and who are between 12-21 years old.

Is there somewhere to stay?
If you don’t have an RV we supply a bunk house for riders who are unaccompanied by a parent. It is located on our facility complete with bunk beds, 2 full baths, full kitchen, and living room. There are also hotels in the area. We do ask that you request the bunkhouse only if you have no alternative place to stay. This means that riders should stay with their parents if they are parked at MTF.

Only riders between the ages of 12 and 21 may stay in the bunkhouse.

Is food supplied for me?
Yes. You will receive all meals from Sunday evening until Friday morning. Friday lunch is not provided.

What should I bring?
We supply the bunk beds and all sheets. You will need to bring your own pillow, a sleeping bag and  your own towels.

What if I get hurt and can't attend?

We do not offer refunds however we will move you to any other camp within 12 months of your injury, as space allows.
