Our goal in One Week camps is simple, to make you a faster rider while remaining safe on the bike. You’ll receive comprehensive instruction in riding technique and physical conditioning as well as an individual mental skills coaching session. We also provide two technique video analysis sessions for each rider.

Colleen Millsaps, whose knowledge and passion for coaching is legendary, will oversee your development throughout the week. She will be assisted by instructors trained in her proven methods and to her exacting standards.

In the evening there are lectures on important topics such as safety, nutrition, mechanic skills and concussion prevention and treatment. On two nights we review video of your riding to clearly show what you are learning and where your skills can improve. You’ll get access to a copy of the week’s video via internet download.

On Friday we offer free riding and this is where you’ll be challenged to leave the “learning” and move into the “doing“ phase. This is an important transition and requires focus, trust and commitment. You’ll be ready, believe us!

Want some great deals on parts and product? Our sponsors have generously offered all camp participants some significant discounts. Either from coupons found in your welcome packet or by pre-ordering parts available for pick up at the camp. Ask us about your Parts Discount and we will send some good deals your way.

Because we know you have a choice about where to train we are 100% committed to your improvement and we continuously strive to make our camps “the ultimate in motocross training”.

A.
The student instructor ratio is almost always 9:1 or less.

Q. How fast do I need to be?
A. The One Week camp is for riders of any age and all skill levels, but you must be on an 85cc bike or larger. In some camps we will offer a 65cc group (typically in cooler months).

Q. How often do we ride?
A.
You train Monday through Thursday and on Friday the emphasis switches to free riding and technique recaps as determined by the instructors.

Q. Do we ride at the same time annual members do?
A. No, you will train with the riders in the camp. However, Colleen will often use pro riders or MTF full time riders to demonstrate skills.

Q. Do I need to bring equipment and bikes?
A. We ask that you bring your own equipment and bike (two if you have them). Please make sure they are in good operable condition before arriving (sprockets, tires, levers etc..)

Q. Do you rent bikes?
A.
Yes. We can get you almost any bike for the camp week. The cost is $1,000 for the first week and you’re responsible for breakable parts such as fenders, levers and pipes. We’ll replace the bike at no charge if it blows up.

Q. Am I guaranteed a full RV hookup?
A. No! We may sometimes have an RV hook up site available (cost $100 per week) but you should not plan for it. Any available spots will be allocated via a lottery. Grass parking is free and we can usually provide water and there is a pump out service. Always bring a generator.

Q. I don’t have an RV, is there somewhere else to stay?
A. Yes, we have a bunkhouse, a private apartment and several private cabins for rent. There are also hotels nearby.

Bunkhouse spots are allocated in the order of camp registration. The bunkhouse is located on our facility complete with beds, 2 full baths, full kitchen, and living room with TV and WIFI. We ask that riders request the bunkhouse only if you have no alternative place to stay. This means that riders should stay with their parents if they are at MTF.

The MTF private apartment and MTF private cabins are available for rent weekly or longer. They are located on site or immediately across the street from our main entrance. Fully furnished and equipped they sleep up to four family members and come with a kitchenette, separate bedroom and living area.
