One Week Camp
December 1st to December 6th 2024


Our goal in One Week camps is simple, to make you a faster rider while remaining safe on the bike. You’ll receive comprehensive instruction in riding technique and physical conditioning as well as an individual mental skills coaching session. We also provide two technique video analysis sessions for each rider. Our one week camps are designed for 65cc riders and up.

We understand that Motocross can be an expensive sport so we offer payments plans to help split the costs over time.

PROFESSIONAL COACHES

Colleen Millsaps, whose knowledge and passion for coaching is legendary, will oversee your development throughout the week. She will be assisted by instructors trained in her proven methods and to her exacting standards

NIGHTLY LEARNING

In the evening there are lectures on important topics such as safety, nutrition, mechanic skills and concussion prevention and treatment. On two nights we review video of your riding to clearly show what you are learning and where your skills can improve. You’ll get access to a copy of the week’s video via internet download.

FREE RIDING

On Friday we offer free riding and this is where you’ll be challenged to leave the “learning” and move into the “doing“ phase. This is an important transition and requires focus, trust and commitment. You’ll be ready, believe us!

Daily Camp Schedule

Sunday

12.00 -5.00pm Arrive and set up. Free ImPACT concussion testing
5.00-6.00pm Mandatory orientation (everyone must attend as there is important information about the camp week).  Dinner is provided during orientation.
10.00pm Lights out

Monday to Thursday

Afternoon: Cardio/strength training groups at the gym daily. One time individual mental skills coaching session.
Free time outside of gym time

Evening Lectures: Video review of your riding (two nights) and two of either bike maintenance, nutrition or concussion information lectures.

Camp frequently asked questions

Am I required to have Health Insurance?

 Yes, you must have health insurance. If you need additional short term insurance (e.g for overseas riders) click the link below

Which forms do I need to sign?

 If the rider is under 18 then a parent needs to sign the minor release form. Parents that do not stay with their rider during the week must assign someone to be the health care surrogate, either a guardian or MTF. Parents of riders under age 18 that do not come to MTF must sign, have notarized and send the appropriate form below:

What is the student/instructor ratio?

The student instructor ratio is almost always 9:1 or less

How fast do I need to be?

The One Week camp is for riders of any age and all skill levels, but you must be on an 85cc bike or larger. In some camps we will offer a 65cc group (typically in cooler months).
